A Note from the Developers of  “ The Refuge at Drummonds Point”

Refuge: a place providing protection or shelter; haven or sanctuary

We were drawn to Edenton nearly fourteen years ago because of its natural beauty and the friendliness of a small town. It is here that we have built our home, raised our family and grown our business, Sound Home Builders.

Sound Home Builders prides itself on Building Quality Homes and Lasting Relationships. We provide our clients with exceptional quality, craftsmanship and service, working hard to maintain the reputation we have built. We strive to build smarter, healthier, and more efficiently without sacrificing attention to design and architectural details. Over the years, we have built many unique and beautiful custom homes from a 1,500 square foot cottage to a 10,000 square foot estate… each one special.

When presented with the opportunity to develop this pristine waterfront we felt compelled to preserve this beautiful haven and to make it something unique. Our knowledge of designing and building custom homes is a natural fit for this project. In learning effective ways to protect our environment and conserve our resources, we know that beauty, style, and quality are very much a part of a home and community that is sustainable. “The Refuge at Drummonds Point” will be Edenton’s first development built to Green standards. We invite you to explore the opportunity to be a part of a community in harmony with it’s surroundings that will be maintained for generations to come.

  Sincerely,

  Ron and Michele Andronowitz
